Louder Than War
Like the vast amount of British bands, and bringing us back to the Misfits, Wargasm cannot take themselves seriously, no matter how serious the music or the message, it’s just not the way we are. But if the lyrics to Outrage can somehow be turned into political reality, we may have a revolution yet.

NME
Featuring an appearance from Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst, Wargasm's debut album is a thrilling statement of intent.

The Line of Best Fit

With tongues remaining cemented firmly in cheeks, Venom is a rip-roaring effort from Wargasm and a testament to their prowess as being “not just any metal band”.

80
Dork
Building on everything that’s come before, while amping up the carnage, the energy and the emotion, Wargasm’s debut album is a lesson in excess.

Metal Hammer

A fun as hell, genre-splicing, relentlessly entertaining ride, and one of 2023's essential debut albums.

Kerrang!
It makes for a satisfying, feisty record made for blasting loud enough to annoy the neighbours, and for partying the existential dread away. This band’s not cooling down anytime soon.
70
Clash
Despite the odd lapse in power, ‘Venom’ is a super-charged and dramatic record characteristic of Wargasm’s spirit.

Distorted Sound
While this record will please die hard WARGASM fans, it may struggle to win over new ones and leaves you feeling like they should have stuck to their original style of releasing music. It would have definitely benefited more by being an EP than a full blown record, displaying that sometimes, less is more.

Brief Review: HOLY SHIT!

Shoutout @Legoshi for pointing me to these guys, cause holy SHIT this was pure 40 minutes of HEAT! This is pretty much just stacked with pure bangers on top of bangers! Genuinely the 100 gecs of this Nu Metal Hardcore scene. If you’re looking for an entire album of “Billy Knows Jamie” type songs, this is basically heaven sent for you. Good shit!

Pretty hit or miss throughout some of these songs were very good and some just average like their wasn't anything special about this really, sure its kind of a unique mixing nu metal and digital hardcore which i kind of love but this duo have so much potential. Intro was kind of cool and matches the feel of the sound for this and the venom probably the second best song on this but tracks 3, 4 and 5 were pretty average but 5 and 6 were pretty fire especially seeing a Fred Durst feature ... read more

This album is named after one of my favorite Marvel characters and has a badass cover.
How this could be a miss for me?
Venom is a good nu-metal album that shows some raw moments.
Instrumentation goes wild at times and mixing on this album is good.
Vocals are pleasant to hear and both Milkie Way and Sam Matlock have great chemistry that helps with the range of vocals and both do a great job at it.
I only want to this be more wild and unhinged than what I get and mostly this album shows some ... read more

I was not ready for this album, it fuses these two genres amazingly. I will definitely be listening to more WARGASM

Quick Metal Dive Review: This a great improvement! Energtic as always.

Some song i like are Death Rattle, Ride the Thunder, Bring Ya Head (feat. Fred Durst) and Modern Love.

Yet my main favorite song is Outrage.

Overall, great album! Might check out more of their music when i feel like it.
