the psychedelic elements on here are a great touch; all of these songs have a very dense atmosphere almost to the point where it sounds like shoegaze, but you still absolutely know you’re listening to the Cows. if the instrumentals were flawed, i would assume this would have been live in terms of recording quality. overall: first and last tracks are easily the highlights, but the rest isn’t bad
