Not the pure noise of their earlier work, but certainly not an attempt at mainstream respectability, either. The Cows are simply too frenzied and defiantly idiosyncratic for that to happen.

wouldve honestly been a 10 if the damn thing didnt skip on digital, especially on fucking teriffique and ort!!!! ort is probably my favourite song on this its genuinely so fucking good but i cannot stand how it skips at the end genuinely, amazing album with amazing performances if you put the shitty vinyl rip aside. check this out but DONT do it in any streaming service.

This is the fifth studio album Cows put out, and judging from its increased popularity and the little I read about it, the new more melodic direction they took with it was a great choice. (95>97) It's taken so long for me to give this band a listen but now I finally do, with their 5th and what I believe to be their most well known album, "Cunning Stunts" great name btw, this album fucks unbelievably hard. (੭˃ᴗ˂)੭

looks like these cunts can stun. every time i return to post-hardcore after a while of not listening to something new from it i get reminded of why i love it so, raw and loud yet complex and almost somewhat catchy? thought this was a jazz album from the cover
