Yeah, Danny Brown did it better.
This album has an oddly large amount of plays on Spotify, especially the first two tracks.
Not sure what is so special about Time After Time that got it 31 million streams, but good for Trane I guess.
This album's kind of a nothing burger.
It's very stereotypical, comfortable, easy-going jazz.

JOHN COLTRANE DEEP DIVE #19
A relaxing, albeit somewhat redundant record.
These are some more mellow RVG cuts, and I like it. Really screams late 50s jazz (because it is), has a nice slow mood to it, really easy record to relax to and smoke a cigar or something. Break out the scotch for this one.
Stardust is the best track here, but every other track sounds so similar to it that there isn't much variation. It's mildly melancholic but mostly just soothing, which is kinda ... read more

Really Solid Album. The only song I wasn't crazy about is Time After Time, that's not because I don't like it I just think It's not all that memorable, and kinda like the most stereotypical jazz song ever. The other songs: Stardust, Love Thy Neighbor, and Then I'll be tired of you are all wonderful. They really remind me of Mill Valley at night (which is a town 30 minutes north of San Fransisco).
