the era of deep gnarly funk in the 70s was the main inspiration for what is seen by many as dr dre's best album, the chronic. synthy and gloopy gangster funk was now the template for west coast hip-hop moving foward, and dr dre and his mate snoop dogg should probably learn how to treat women better
