Eclectic drum patterns, fuzzed-out production, and a noticeable depature from the current sounds of Current Value's solo work, really help to distinguish this record in a significant way. The entire thing feels like a throwback to the 2000s darkstep & technoid sound (i think those are the genres here) , while also bringing a ton of fresh, modern conventions to the table, such as much improved mix, and tighter rhythms.

Now that I reviewed Neo Miami, it's time to move on to The Observers - the other EP I was aware of when I was new to MachineCode.
