Singles Collection is a compilation comprised of material from the earliest days of Brainbombs as a band, some songs here even date back to the 1980's. It's an anomaly in the band's catalog because I feel they were never as serious or aggressive as this again, Singles Collection, make no mistake is a dark, dark album with some of the most unflinching lyrics in Noise Rock history.

Did I say Obey was absolute filth? Well, this is (in a certain way) even filthier. It's still edgy, but the vocals don't sound as goofy as on later releases; it sounds like Peter is putting in more effort here (the screaming comes from other members, though). The guitars are just nasty, distorted killers. Noisy, varied (it is a collection after all) but none, or at least less, of that awkwardness that appears on both Burning Hell and ESPECIALLY on Obey ππ Obey transcends being awkward and is just really unintentionally funny through its over the top but still really basic—almost parodic—edginess to be fair
But yeah this is pretty great.
