Not as good as their prior EP 'Cue' (which was my introduction to the band) but still a fun albeit brief EP that's sees them trying new stuff, expanding their sound further with use of more electronic elements such as an increased use in synths and a bit more of a dreamy sound overall compared to the more driving J-Rock sound seen prior but with this sound rearing its head on the last track. I checked this one out cause I liked the cover
and am glad I did, It is really amazing
But the vocal mixing sucks tbh
This EP really flies by, but it also has a lot to offer within each song. Every track really has a lot of care and thought put into its composition from a musical perspective and there are several moments on this four-track EP that are legitimately overwhelming. At no point did I feel like that sort of moment in a track was unearned. This is awesome!
