Fallsheeps’ ‘Cue’ quickly goes from unassuming indie emo EP to one of the best projects you could sink half-an-hour into this year. Catchy, low key, and only willing to erupt when needed, this Japanese gem is a must listen.

Infectiously upbeat vocal performances with some pretty unique instrumentation make for a very fun listen! I totally see what the others were saying though, the Achilles heel of this EP is the length of some of the songs. The first 75% of most tracks are quite entertaining but tend to drag or meander a bit toward the end. Despite my critique, it does feel very genuine, and has an undeniable charm.
