Lmao boobies
An absolute joyride of an album that explodes with colour and vibrancy. This is a newer sound for Lamp. A change from the jazz-pop on the last album I listened to from them “For Lovers” and a step towards a more dreamier and atmospheric sound and production style. "Yume" is the band's most successful attempt at creating an atmospheric, dreamy, and grand experience, and is my personal favourite Lamp record overall.
I think this album's success for me is in large due to its scale. In particular, this is Lamp's most grand and orchestral-sounding album, and yet it never lets go of the coziness and dreamy atmosphere throughout the whole album. This is shown through its opening, titled "Symphony", which flawlessly sets up ... read more
