Eva Luna is bursting with ideas and tension; dissonant instrumental lines careen off of both noisy samples and spacey dream pop textures, resting on a bed of hypnotic dub bass grooves and deliberate, deeply funky percussion.
[This is] an exceptional record. Moonshake never cheapen their stories, never exploit their subjects, never preach or pass judgement … The result is an endlessly challenging, confrontational social document, no less. It demands your serious respect.
A solid Post Experimental Indie Rock with a dash of post punk release with some nice tune throughout the experience.

Absolutely shocked at how few ratings this has, especially since I discovered it from the "You May Also Like" page of a well-rated album (Swans - The Great Annihilator)
I'm a bit lost for words at the moment, but I found this a delightful blend of elements I love in the styles of some favorite artists/albums of mine!
I will now proceed to be mildly confused and disappointed for a while about this album flying under the radar, see ya and enjoy ^^
Absolutely fucking adore the way they utilize samples on this album. It's kinda like if a Punk band tried their hand at Trip-Hop. Even then, I dunno if that's the best description. But it's certainly something to behold. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, there's a real unhinged vibe to this album, but it's one hell uva ride for me.
This is one of the most interesting first wave post-rock albums as it feels like a mix of 90s triphop and some of the stylings of modern post-punk bands like Squid.
Really really awesome stuff here and I'm surprised at how nobody knows about this.
