Unlike many other "one-hit-wonders" of the late 90s Colvin creates an almost flawless album.
"Sunny Came Home" won everybody over with its warm strings and delicate vocals delivering the weirdly ominous lyrics.
"A Few Small Repairs" continues with amazing singer-songwriter style tracks: absolutely love the angrier performance in "I Want it Back" and the buildup of "84,000 Different Delusions".

I’m not surprised this has so few and such high ratings. This artist never really exploded but she’s clearly talented. Most of the songs sound both ahead of their time - like the folk/Americana of today - while also quintessentially 90’s. Sunny Came Home immediately takes me right back to 90’s soft rock radio. Not something I’ll come back to but it was an easy listen today.
