In a very welcome surprise this year, german electronic music producer / experimentalist Erik Wiegand a.K.a. Errorsmith, delivers a delightfully weird set of wonky tunes that make use of all sorts of sampling and programming to come up with eccentric, but solid results. Unlike most of his electronic-music contemporaries, Wiegand does a fine job in taking an idea and expanding its scope in pretty much every cut of the album, hardly sticking to one single pattern for much time.
