Perception is a heavy and serious listen, but fortunately it's never dull, mostly due to the density of NF's continually engrossing lyrics.
Guys NF is so underrated he makes deep sad albums and you wouldn't understand the true meaning unless you had depression like me it's just so deep and I relate to it and his parents are mean and mine are too (took away my DS for bad grades) and I cried to this and it is so sad.

Why did I bump this record in the past, it's really REALLY corny. NF has a personality of just being angry all the time and it's pretty annoying.
Best Tracks: Intro lll (actually a great track), Outcast
Even though NF usually leaves at least a few good songs or moments on every album, Perception is the only project from him that really feels complete from every angle.
While Therapy Session was the album that really launched him, even now in 2026, this 2017 project still feels like his best work.
