Speed on their debut album deliver a pumpling punk project that even adds occasional singing moments to the album without sacrificing what makes it punchy. I found that this album doesn't have the issue of sounding too repetitive as the album length is on the shorter side. Additionally, vocal switch ups (clean and unclean), breakdown changes, and group chemistry do enough to keep the listeners attention. The mark of greatness is when everything that came before you becomes obsolete and everything ahead of you bears your essence. This album just smashed all the paradigms. Move over Turnstile, we got a new conversation to start. AND IT BEGINS WITH SPEED.
Goes fucking Berzongo but also gets really samey after a bit, which is kinda impressive because this is 23 minutes
Great music to get the blood pumping. Chunky riffs and breakdowns, with aggressive vocals don't overstay their welcome on this brief album, making it ideal for repeat listens.
