Ghost have made no secret of the fact Rite Here Rite Now is closing this latest album cycle, and after these 90 minutes of glee, their legions will march into their next era with the biggest grins on their faces.
Rite Here Rite Now captures Ghost at peak power and their adoring fan base in complete thrall. While it remains to be seen where the crown will land next, a steady stream of black smoke emanates from the Sistine Chapel's chimney.
Seeing this movie in theatres was a blast and this soundtrack complements it so well. This is a damn great soundtrack/live album. The Ghoulettes’ backing vocals help differentiate these versions to the previous studio and live recordings. Tobias’s vocals are some of his strongest he’s ever put on an album and the live versions of the If You Have Ghost, Prequelle, 7 Inches of Satanic Panic, and Impera songs are great to hear. Calling this a movie soundtrack is kinda true and kinda not. It’s basically just a concert film with some extra theatrics. But theatrics are what Ghost do best
