Caps Lock isn’t the easiest entry into his music, but features enough great moments to hopefully make people dig into his rich past.
Three albums to go for Capsule and we move onto 2013’s Caps Lock. This is their only album that isn’t on American Spotify. Thanks Warner! This is a really, really weird one. Half of the songs are instrumental, and mostof the songs that aren’t don’t really make great use of the vocals ... read more
Like what many of the reviews here say, this album definitely feels more like a Nakata solo album than anything else Capsule has made. Koshijima only has vocals on half of the tracks and the glitchy Sakatomo-esque sound here is a complete 180 from the EDM trajectory of their previous works. Best : Control
Worst : Esc
Weaker than Flash Back, this album is okay, the only song I like here is Space. It sounds so wonderful and futuristic and something out of a Roblox game. This would be perfect for a roblox game. Everything else is meh or good but 12345678 would've been a higher rating track if it weren't for that annoying sound effect car horn repeating. ESC is kind of weaker. The 12345678 Extended mix is also really annoying
