Slayyyter knew what she was doing when she went into the studio and this is literally one of the best tracklists I’ve heard for a while!!
although I do not think that album is EXTREMELY consistent, I think that’s what makes the album so on theme and brand. so fucking cool.
I’ve listened to this album twice now as on first listen I usually am focused on production rather than the song as a whole!
firstly, the production is genuinely fucking excellent on this album - props to underscores for doing this all herself because it’s fucking IMMACULATE. It’s very rare to find an album where production is top tier the entire track run, but underscores has excelled in that area!

I actually enjoyed majority of this LOL
not really sure about it having disco in the title as only really 2 or 3 songs are “disco” (season 2 weight loss, aperture, pop?) other than that the album is pretty solid. I must say I am definitely bringing the rating down after that tummy tickled line… that threw me off insanely LOL but yeah! Dance no more kind of gave me the same vibe and woman in the beginning
this honestly is such a masterpiece. I was kind of sceptical on how I would feel about this album because of the backlash towards the actual film itself but this album feels like such a breath of fresh air and has the most amazing production!! While I believe it sounds similar to true romance, I feel as though it has its own sound that is rather unique compared to anything I’ve heard Charli release.
