i genuinely have to give this album a 100, it ticks all of my boxes and i simply cannot stop listening to it and it never leaves my head.
massively under appreciated album. the riffs feels so intense sonically and emotionally in a way that is rarely captured in music nowadays. a couple songs drag on a little too much, however most are so punch and tight they never get old. 91/100
i would’ve listened to this album so fucking much if i understood the concept of music when it came out
this is my bands EP and i am really proud of what we did, but knowing what we are capable of just a few months later makes me realize the areas we can improve on
an album i remember very fondly growing up in the 2000s. an immature expression of growing up and dealing with the confusion of your 20s that i find all too relatable. while some songs feels a bit formulaic, the album makes me feel good. 78/100.
an insanely strong metal album that i did not expect to enjoy as much as i did. while i initially associated metallica with mediocrity and formulaic riffs, i know see that they totally blow the assumptions i had out of the water. while i can feel its age in a few of the songs, the riffs still go as hard as they did in 1986. a massive touchstone in metals history. 83/100
an extremely hard album to rate because of how all over the place it is, but that is truly part of its charm. the powers that b feels like a decent into madness in the best way possible, all culminating in the beautifully gut wrenching song that is "on gp". 89/100.
its the fucking money store, every song on this album is a 10 and i have felt this way for years. unmatched energy and vibes that i have never seen before. i love you death grips...... 100/100
death grips at its best, i love every song off this album except warping that one is just kind of okay. 98/100.
an album i never fully appreciated until very recently, loathe creates an atmosphere of dread and despair in the best way possible. metalcore and shoegaze are two genres i never expected to see together, and yet they pair together beautifully. i will have to listen to this album in full again as i would not be surprised if my score increases. 84 -> 87, insane replay value on this one
the best album to come out of the "post-grunge" era of music. with a sound that i have failed to see other bands replicate, third eye blinds self titled manages to stand its ground even against modern albums. with elements of emo, shoegaze, and grunge sprinkled throughout this power pop rock album, an addicting and jovial sound is created. an amazing album then, and an amazing album now. 93/100
