Beats Per Minute
The song’s entertainment value is through the roof. It’s loose and playful, with all three players reveling in the frivolity of it all.

Putting this many visionary types in one studio could’ve made for a mess, but they lock in for a three-man weave – like the Bird-McHale-Parish of avant-R&B.

This song (the 13 minute version) is one of those things that can only be done in the moment. It was all recorded in one take, and I think if they tried to redo it, the song wouldn't have the same massive impact that it has. This song is absolutely one of a kind and a fantastic display of artistic freedom. Certainly a benchmark, and highlight for Gorillaz. An absolute masterpiece

Hang on, what was Andre again?

edit: I just did a bit of research and apparently Andre's the shit. Thanks for the clarification, Google.

Damn it, I wish this was on Spotify. Probably the best song in Gorillaz discography. A 13 minute trip into ever aspect of the party of life: Confusion, happiness, sadness, desperation, mourning, depression, and Andre 3000 screaming that he is, indeed, the shit. It's a great piece of experimental pop that is so infectious that you'll want to come back to again and again.

André screaming like he's reliving childhood trauma is the ultimate highlight of the 2010s
