Firstly, this album isn’t a 40, but it deserves this grade. I do like J. Cole, I almost gave him a perfect rating, look at my profile. However, with every release, I just think he won’t change. He’s beat selection is so plain, in this aspect he’s the “conscious hip-hop Gunna”, he can’t rap in nothing too different or too experimental.
