Widely considered one of Mozart’s greatest works. Unfortunately, I think Mozart is LAME! #Contemporary #GetYourTonalAssBackTo1750
the branching out into new genres and sounds is just handled by neutering the other genres for more synthpop stuff. genuinely don’t know how to feel.
From its first track, HYPERYOUTH is a highlight reel of Joey Valence's delicious, vibrant and immensely inspired production capabilities, incorporating a vast sea of fragments from around the globe. The title track with its fun clave feel over the skrillex samples and electronica chords and GIVE IT TO ME's electronic additions to an intense blend of west coast beats are perfect examples of how there seem to be an endless amount of combinations JV is privy to. Unfortunately, its not ... read more
A pretty amazing recording of smooth blues recordings and jazz standards that is a pretty essential listen. It was kinda staggering that it wasn’t already on this site. A good beginner Blues record too.
One of the greatest cases of post-hardcore's extreme emotional significance......I don't have the words to properly describe the emotions Wildlife draws out of you. Death is cold, but Life is often colder.
La Dispute are one of the best in Post Hardcore for a reason... This proves it. The anxieties and subsequent delusions of the modern age are on display, and they're as explosive as ever.

This is a little detour I instinctively went on because I realized just how much the title track Let It Be slaps and I ended up listening to the naked version and then the whole thing...and man, yeah, this is significantly better. Fuck that Spector Guy

RINGO RINGO RINGOOOOOOO RINGOOOOOOOOOO RINGOOOOOOOOOOO RINGO YOU SHRED THOSE DRUMS BABY BOYYYYYY!!! I’m so proud of you Richard…Ringo…Rango…I’m getting really emotional…I’m so proud of them…they put their tussles and squabbles aside and learned what a tritone sub is…they learned how to write a blues song that actually grips your soul…and of course Something aka “the best lennon-mccartney song” -frank ... read more

Preliminary reasoning as to why this is not the final album in the Beatles’ discography: As it is well documented that Let It Be was recorded before Abbey Road, this is not the last Beatles project in my mind. Abbey Road is.
That aside: the original Rock n Roll sound they’re striving for on Let It Be is one that has not only been heard before a million times, but they have done a million times. The Phil Spector additions create some contrast…but honestly, ... read more

Why does everybody sleep on this one? It’s honestly not too bad!!! The actual songs are quite good, and the instrumentals are quite well done and expressive, incorporating parts of the Beatles’ instrumental styles into their various moods.. George is clearly sick of their shit. It’s pretty funny! I don’t have much to say about this album unfortunately. It’s an okay one with nice film scoring.
they certainly tried a little harder this time
twenty one pilots is a band that I have genuinely never gotten the mass enjoyment of. They seem to be this band that lives in the vague musical shadow of a bunch of different artists that came before them, never venturing too far from deep reverb-y half-pop-half-rock. Their "Contemporary Alternative Rock" label doesn't quite fit them; their music sounds like it is both trying too little and too much. They have this tendency to ... read more
I feel like Ed Sheeran could be a really good musician if something happened differently in his early career. Maybe a different artistic direction, or a different connection, I don't know. He sounds like he's got the ability but not the ideas.

This fucking sucks it did NOT age well
they have made this exact same song for 5 years now
worse two door cinema club + arctic monkeys vocals.
this sounds like church camp music. the drum tracks sound like (and have the reverb of) VBS tunes. Imagine he's talking about jesus and not his ex. how do you get behind this lowk
pretty alright and enjoyable single. interested in this band’s output.
