It's standard Converge fare; energetic, dismal, violent, and the like. Sounds most like All We Love We Leave Behind to me. Nothing truly new is done here, but Its a great record nonetheless. If you like other Converge, you'll like this.

One of the highest draws to "Moon Beams" is the fact that it's Bill Evans at his most Bill Evans, home to some perfect examples of his rosy, ethereal, and meditative style of piano.
The sheer variety of chord voicings and textures he uses accompanying Chuck Israels' bass solo on Re: Person I Knew is pretty stellar if you listen for it.
