I used to hate easy life and didn’t ever listen to them because I fell asleep listening to them on loop; but then I found out about the easy jet thing and listened to tears which was pretty good much like that single this album is pretty good, very vulnerable, very catchy , and I like the name hard life more ! Before this the only songs I listened to was tears and mrs holloway but now I have a few more ! Thanks hard life !!

One of herbie’s older works that doesn’t make it any worse. A very active album that makes you want to be outside enjoying life . I would make it the rating 90 but I didn’t really like all of eye of the hurricane and it’s only a 5 song lp
Mannn I’ve been waiting for damn there 6 yearsssss man . I’ve been with the virgins since the beginning and as the years progressed I noticed the slow shift in them taking their music more seriously and through it all I just kept wondering “ when are they just gonna drop the album?” And now they have! ( just unfortunately without the amount of MC God we wanted D: )And man if this isn’t the definition of grwowth and evolution then I don’t know what is ! This ... read more
Pretty solid album. Very clear inspiration for Dijon (unless I’m just a sound deprived Dijon fan). I love this push for more alt country, I love when he does the robot voice; I do feel like the album kinda does run a bit long tho which is odd because it’s only 13 tracks loses me around two step. Can’t wait to hear more from derby and hope he’s on BLUSH 2.

I was craving some electro-pop and this album sufficed to a marvelous extent. It is a very consistent album, but I do think it starts to sound better about three songs in. I listened to it in one sitting without looking at the song names, so I don’t actually know which ones I like, but the album is definitely good.

God damn I love this album on repeat for months I never get bored of the music when I sit down and intentionally listen. This album is so beautiful I understand why everyone wants to copy him!! Thank you Dijon

Aye this the one. Only like 2 songs on here that I wasn’t that interested in but everything else kept me captivated I wrote down my favorite songs as I listened and it was a little less then half the album. The feeling brought to this is project distinctly Kevin and his teenage romance vibe but heavily expanded on thanks to the new voices being brought to the sound like Dominic and Love spells. Also quadeca just went fucking crazy on this album almost every banger song he produced. ... read more
I listened to this as background music and it was pretty good. Someone said that his was when grateful dead started making elevator music but I've never heard elevator music this captivating. Every song on this album sounds like it blows in the wind while experiencing the country side.
I saw the hate on this album, and yeah, I get it; Finn is using a sound that has been used time and time again, but I don't think it's awful. There's only one song where I think the singing is annoying, which is a steep difference from the guy who gave this a 1. I listened to this and then forgot I listened to it the same day. Pretty much the quintessential "indie" album.

YOU ARE A GENIUS PBMMMMM!! THE CHOSEN ONE! MAN ABOVE ALL ! MAN OF THE YEAR ! SHOW THEMM SHOW THEM YOUR MIGHTTTTT
can't believe i forgot to rate this. second ghostface album i've listened to in full and it's in collaboration with one of my favorite bands. Very tantalizing beats and catchy verses per the course of these two coming together. Some tracks are a bit of a miss if you're not in the mood but overall a very enjoyable listen that i had on repeat

Honestly not too much to say. I listened to Ziggy Stardust and I really liked it but i didn't really relisten, I listened to this and I WAS BLOWN AWAY! Such a good floppin album has been on repeat FRONT TO BACK

it's like 808s and heartbreak meets Man on the Moon 1 plus chaotic lesbianism

Me and my mom were literally falling asleep in the car while listening to this bro

I really like this. This sounds like a slight evolution in their sound from MIDAIR and hopefully their next album will be the sound perfected.

This has easily been one of my most listened-to LPs in 2024. There's just something about the alien-like vocals that really stands out—it's unlike anything I've ever heard before. Honestly, this album is really soulful, and brings such a wide array of emotions with it.
listened: probably like mid feburary 2024
In a time where don't hear a lot of garage rock this is a good reminder of why it took over the 2000's.

I've never listened to the Pixies and I've only heard of them a few times and it was never like "Omg the Pixies are so amazing" so on a blind listen, this is a good album. It reminds me of Zep 1 but more energetic. This wasn't like god's gift to Earth like a lot of the reviews are making it out to be ( at least for me ) but it's a good fun listen that I'll relisten to
