Pretty solid ep could basically be the second half of the first one. I didnt like this one as much tho
This album has basically changed my life. I knew nothing about kevin, I knew nothing about BROCKHAMPTON before listening to this but when I listen to this for the first time I loved it; had it on repeat for weeks. Then I decided to listen to BROCKHAMPTON once I realized kevin was in the band and I haven't looked back since.
This is the first ever album I listened to and it's amazing. literally just stumbled upon this album a few months after it's released I had no idea what it sounded like or who made it or what people thought cause I had no social media. After listening to Earfquake for like 3 weeks I decided to give the entire album a listen and man it was great. Tyler was from then on my number 1 spotify artist for the next 5 years and almost every playlist I made for the next two years would have ... read more
I have an extensive history with this album. For the longest time I just didn't understand the hype around it. The first time I listened to it I had just started listening to music and I was playing bloons tower defense battles 2 ( I won every match ); obviously that wasn't a good first impression. But after that everytime I listened to it it felt like I was just saying it was good for the sake of saying it was good. Probably 6 months later I lost all of my closest friends I had in ... read more
pretty much a waste of time for me. everyone likes burn but I didn't even like it that much. I actually kinda digged the album when it first came out but I literally never touched it after the first listen
I liked this more than UTOPIA and that albums pretty darn good
This is the third project of Vince’s that I’ve listened to and man it’s another banger definitely his best to date. When it first came out I really put off listening to it but now that i have it’s one of my favorites from this year. Vince talks about the black plight, his struggles with fame and love with others and family alike. Vince has great flows great beats and even the “skips” are great listens overall a great project.
I was very excited for this album after listening to the first see you next year over and over again and needless to say I was very satisfied. The first single for this song " How to cry " Was amazing I listened to it A BUNCH OF TIMES! The rest of the leading singles were also great but I want to waste time talking about them. The album is alot more indie oriented than the last one and I really like it. I don't think it was intentional but just the result of having a great roster ... read more
This album came to me at a lower point in my life where I was dreading most of my day almost everyday, and man did this album help out; I don't love every song on this album. But i did listen to this album on repeat several times fully through sometimes on shuffle sometimes not. The vibes on this album I can't really explain but to me it reminds me of like 2018. Definitely recommend but you're not entirely missing out if you don't listen.
I saw this album on tyler the creators story when it first dropped and i decided to listen and now it's one of my most listened to albums of all time. I love the aggression, I love the slower more emotional parts, and I love the dynamic between the duo. Definitely would listen can't believe melon doesn't like this one.
Unfortunately this is a very underrated album that is most likely going over a lot of peoples heads. If my mom wasn't friends with BEZ I would've completely missed this great project. I love the Rap-Rock with the Southern twang and it's right up my alley as someone who listens to Paris Texas, BROCKHAMPTON, grouptherapy, etc etc. definitely should have a listen.
This was one of my favorite albums throughout 2023 it's only competition being lil yatchy's " let's start here", and teezo touchdown's " Where do you sleep at night ". Sampha has an almost magical production with an almost electronic mix with r&b and soul. Really great listen Sampha talks about his mental and religion and sum other stuff. It's a great listen ( only reason it isn't a 90 is because I didn't relisten to it very much)
I'll preface this by saying Ameer is my favorite brockhampton member and I think what happened to him was unjust; I'll also say that I'm a big fan of voice effects from artist like brockhampton themselves, tyler the creators earlier work, and frank ocean. AND I really like dogs. With that being said, 83.
I had never listened to Quadeca before this and for the first month I had only listened to Texas blue and then when i finally dcecided to listen to this album I was hardly listening and then I heard an edited version of Guide Dog and man that slapped so I went to listen to the whole album again and it slapped.
I'm not the biggest fan of this game. I think it fails in most aspects of being a squeal; but this is by FAR the best part of this game and the GREATEST improvement made from botw and I love that soundtrack.
Jaydes can be very versatile. And I like a lot of the music when he is. But it feels like he REALLY wants to be versatile; this album is… something. The songs I like are decent, the songs that are shit are really shit. I would say that it’s cause I don’t listen to a lot of punk but I do so :/. If Jaydes stopped the corny act of wanting to be super different he could make quality music of whatever genre but rn ts is kinda ass
I had been putting off listening to pixel bath for roughly two years but man am i glad i finally decided to listen. Jean comes with a sound that feels like the punk coming age teenage years that i've always had an obsession with since a kid. The hooks are catchy, the usage of guitar is stellar, and the lyrics are strong. The features are very unique with A$ap and Earl featuring; instead of them both giving their infectious rapping like usual they instead pivot their style to something ... read more
I've known about brockhampton for several years now but just now decided to get into their music. It was probably one of the best decisions I've made; Saturation is 100% worthy of all the praise it gets. Each individual member tries their hardest on each song seemingly trying to out do one another. Hooks, flows, vocals, almost everything is amazing on this album.
This project personally for me is up there when it come to debut projects. I think that people who call this lp "corny" or " tacky" are taking themselves too seriously.
