I've seen these guys live before they had any music out, I've heard these songs develop and grow into singles and now into a full length LP and I can proudly say, deathdotgov is the best band in Arizona. The use of horns throughout the record adds such a unique dynamic but I will admit they're only present on half the album and sometimes they get muddled behind the guitars, especially on Magic Guns which has 3 SAX PLAYERS credited. "Post their addresses" is an insane line for a LIVING TOMBSTONE song, and Malibu Pier is good, but man this is laughably bad even by TLT standards. I'm in the right age bracket to have a nostalgic soft spot for their music but that's not enough to redeem Sam's rapping and attempts at political commentary.
