I don't know why, but this album is not as crazy as people say it is. I don't know if it's just the gangsta rap but this was a let down. Still, the production is very urban and gangsta and for the most part is pretty good. This goes well with the mostly boastful lyrics, but overall just a good listen with some great songs. Best tracks: 1: Many Men. 2: P.I.M.P. 3: In da Club. Worst tracks: 1: Like My Style. 2: Blood Hound. 3: Poor Lil Rich.
More Life is a laid-back project from Drake where he lets other artists shine while still giving us quality material and incredible summer bangers. The idea of a playlist is fine but the accents Drake uses through out the track list aren't for me. The production is very dancehall-like and brings elements of house, pop rap and some nice R&B. And this goes well with the lyrics which aren't really deep and just chill with some exceptions like Lose You. Overall good chill ... read more
How the hell does this have a 61 rating, do people not think this is great? Anyway its their loss. But jokes aside this album is great, the production has trap, pop rap, and more, but this whole project has this vibe where it feels lo-fi even with the more hype songs, and I love it. The lyrics are great for a collab album and is consistence from start to end of the track list. The only problem is the connection between 21 and Drake, it sounds like 21 is Drake's little brother and is just ... read more
When I look at Drake's discography, this is the album I pinpoint as the downfall in Drake's album-creation process. Genuinely don't understand what he was trying to do with this album, most of the songs are filler, with some exceptions, and the mixing in these songs is not it. But the delivery and cadence in most songs is good. The production has two sides, either like you are overheating in a desert, or like smooth pop rap which I like. I know I'm hating but I will say I ... read more
Most of the songs are mid or bad, with a few good ones. The production tries to be nocturnal, and overall kind of works but sounds underdeveloped and with little to no emotion whatsoever. The lyrics are sexual and with no depth, as to be expected of a collab album but still 1 hour and 13 minutes of talking about nothing. I sound like I hate this but I don't, it just could have been much better and is Drake's and Party's worst project. Best tracks: 1: Nokia. 2: Die Trying. 3: ... read more
