this is such a triumphant record and its really helped me to see why people like weezer so much. the writing is so much better than the previous few records of theirs ive listened to. its a cohesive and consistent listen. plus i love the cover, not sure why.

What an amazing album. From the first moments of montezuma to the final moments of grown ocean, it lyrically creates such a beautiful and existential landscape of curiosity and wonder. This alongside such phenomenal instrumentation with incredible attention to detail, its just such an enjoyable time.

I was not expecting to have this become one of my favourite albums this year, but it has. I have never seen MLP so I assumed that I would not like this as much as I did. Much of the record is centred around MLP but despite this, I believe you do not necessarily need to know the show to still understand. I think it can stand on its own. Every review here says what i want to say, but better. I love this album so much and i hope that one day i can write a review that does justice to my feelings about this. but for now, ill just say that this is perfection. give it a listen.
