APRILLLLLLðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
This has somehow exceeded my extremely high expectations that the 3 singles (plus the Yves remix of Do It, my beloved remix) made me have and is easily one of the best pop albums of the entire decade and completely blew me away by some way.
I believe the three singles were perfect as teasers and work well to establish the electropop sound of the album and the I O U motif that’s used throughout. Tell Me is a great intro too and I think it flows into Music so well ... read more
That last 90 or so seconds is easily one of the best musical passages of the year, Jane nails switching the vibe of Criminal into this more melancholic sounding rendition and it works so so well. Faves: XO TOUR LLIF3, NOTHING LASTS FOREVER (the last 2 and a half mins…my word), #BOYLETMEKNOW, Summer Fling
I feel like I say this with every new single Perry drops but this might be my absolute favourite one so far and might be one of the best singles of the year so far, this is fucking stellar.
This one features more of a guitar and drum-heavy instrumental compared to the last few singles and I think it compliments the verses and the contents within them beautifully (Perry is in unbelievable form here), Zionkat’s production here is so well done.
I really liked Marika Sage’s feature ... read more
