Nothing to say. Straight up terrible mixing and awful production, worse than its predecessor.
Still Jimi Hendrix's best album, and my favorite album of all time. Not a bad song at all. Jimi's guitar playing was amazing and will always be, the greatest guitarist of all time hands down imo. Nearly 56 years later, it still holds up perfectly. His amazing cover of Bob Dylan's "All Along The Watchtower" and the classic "Voodoo Child" are just examples of his guitar pioneering virtuosity. Just amazing.
Sure there are a few good highlights, but overall honestly a disappointing way to end a legendary band's career. I think the tensions and every bad thing behind the sessions and scenes caused it maybe, but who knows. Few highlights like "Let It Be", "Get Back" and "I, Me, Mine" but overall, a major disappointment.
The best Arctic Monkeys album imo, with bangers such as "505" and "Fluorescent Adolescent". Overall great album and great follow-up to their debut.
Honestly still Dylan's best work imo. Came out nearly 60 years ago, but still perfectly holds up today. I love his absolute transition from folk to rock (which was somehow considered "controversial" back around 1965) which I don't understand lol, considering it was HIS choice on what music he wanted to make. From the opening "Like A Rolling Stone" to the closer, "Desolation Row" it is just straight up a perfect album with no bad songs.
