I have heard this album and it is beautiful.
I came across Wulven by chance a few months ago and found myself immediately entranced by a few of their tracks. There was a comfort to their sound that I’d gotten from few other artists and that comfort has only grown these past months. I sat down and listened to their sophomore LP “I Have Seen The End and It Is Beautiful” late at night, wanting to fully immerse myself into the fuzzy, eerie, doomgazey sound that this album brings ... read more
In what has easily been my most anticipated release of the year, queen of new gen jungle Nia Archives releases her debut LP “Silence Is Loud”.
Four years after the success of her debut single “Sober Feels” in 2020, producer, DJ, singer and songwriter Nia Archives releases her debut album that is a true culmination of everything she has done so far. I've listened to this through a couple times since its release and it's honestly just a really pleasant dream rock album. Combines elements of shoegaze, psychedelia and indie, I'm not too sure where these guys are from, but I can here some Bristol sound influences in a number of tracks too. Nothing too mind-blowing on here, it's pretty consistent across the record, but a really enjoyable listen that ... read more
