This album sounds like if an AI could somehow take drugs then made music.
This is easily the most eclectic album I have ever heard. This album cover so much musical ground that it's almost impossible to incapsulate any song here into a genre, let alone the whole album
One minute you might have a sweet slow song about love, then an insane breakbeat inspired cut, followed by a track with insane guitar riffs and THEN you find out that that was all just 2 minutes of ONE SONG.

"maybe you could listen to the other albums to try to enjoy the music and not solely to understand this? Swans have albums shorter than 2 hours and way more engaging records than this so maybe you could try to listen to those?
Also, the beggar lover is literally comprised mostly of old Swans songs so listening to it while consciously AND willingly ignoring the context that makes it make any sense at all and then saying "what the hell even is this" is kinda dumb"
