apart from that this is still a really good song, best single so far but it really should've been longer
Cutter Lane is an insane breath of fresh air from haunted mound, and even though i love what sem did in butcher house i hope that turn keeps doing his own thing on lord of ephraim
Bolos, Does and Olde Highway 28 are straight up some of the best songs anyone on hm has released ever, just absolutely impecable and really fucking addicting.

the album that got me into music. even if i may not like it as much as i did when i first heard it it will always hold a dear place in my heart just for that

"maybe you could listen to the other albums to try to enjoy the music and not solely to understand this? Swans have albums shorter than 2 hours and way more engaging records than this so maybe you could try to listen to those?
Also, the beggar lover is literally comprised mostly of old Swans songs so listening to it while consciously AND willingly ignoring the context that makes it make any sense at all and then saying "what the hell even is this" is kinda dumb"
