idk how but this fucking mixtape somehow ended up becoming one of my favorite albums of all time. absolutely addicting and incredibly fun every single listen. easily my album of the year for 2022 and gunsmith might be the best song of the year

"maybe you could listen to the other albums to try to enjoy the music and not solely to understand this? Swans have albums shorter than 2 hours and way more engaging records than this so maybe you could try to listen to those?
Also, the beggar lover is literally comprised mostly of old Swans songs so listening to it while consciously AND willingly ignoring the context that makes it make any sense at all and then saying "what the hell even is this" is kinda dumb"
