You walk by a humming power plant and stop to listen closer, you focus in, hearing every buzz, you’re entranced. Slowly it sucks you in taking every part of your being to not move, you enter a state of euphoria and wonder if the gods listen to us as this humming sound, a constant slew of prayers being thrown at them, will they excuse you for your sins or are you being punished for giving in to the natural temptation of lust.
Charli at her most vulnerable, such a touching album personally to me. The album having a main theme of being for people that love to go clubbing but not for the aesthetics and actually use it as an escape from reality but always find themselves sad in the club. Really just exceeded expectations to be honest and have never related to an album more.
