Cleopatrick shows versatility on their sophomore album with a more lush approach, while still maintaining their DIY esthetic. They have my full attention for what's to come.
I just think I'm not the target audience for this album. Although, I do like how chill and well produced this is.
Perhaps some songs are a bit repetitive & overstay their welcome, but this album is a statement by Tyler The Creator that he has a clear vision and unquestionable talent
Haley Heynderickx sophomore album is an abstract canvas of acoustic songs, giving us a peek inside her mind.
I'm truly mad that Singing Elvis, Pt. 1 & Pt. 2 isn't one song! This album is chill, but ultimately left me wanting a bit more. It's definitely a step in the right direction!
How can an artist make one of my favorite album this year and one of the worst album I've heard this year?
I prefer King Krule's slow songs, and this album has slightly less of them. Don't get me wrong though, there's still some bangers on this album.
Even after many listens, I can't tell you which songs are which because this album sounds like it's the same song on repeat.
Listen to the new Jack White album instead. It's way better.
