Repetitiveness and stagnation are two things that have plagued hiphop for a while now, both in the over and underground. Artists who were once pushing and fighting for their creative vision have settled for the praise their initial sporadic music earned them. This album came as a lovely surprise to me. This is something that really does go against the grain in a way that this genre needs more often.

Partially beautiful. Partially brutal. Partially excruciating. Very similar to the cuts off of ILMLDFY that I just couldn't really get along with.
Adding a bunch of crashy, glitchy, distorted crap at the beginning and end of the song in the name of experimentalism does this song no favours. But the middle section, where the beat becomes more tolerable, is pretty excellent. The production is *dare I say*, effectively, experimental. I see the vision Peggy.
