Honestly, I tried my best to give this album a fair shake, especially with all the glazing it was getting online. I think I have come to the conclusion that the sound, and the album itself, are simply not for me. The production here is incredible, but I found the finish product and overall experience lackluster. I will chalk it up to simply being not my kind of music.
Not as good as the album before it, and a little rushed feeling. However, there are still some solid tracks on here.
One of the best albums I have ever listened to, I wish I had discovered this sooner. So many favorites here I can't even point them out.
There are almost no skips on this album, haven't really had that since SMALMST in 2022. I hope this is a sign of great things to come
On first listen, I got flashbacks to The Future is Dark and was thoroughly disappointment. On re-listen I grew to appreciate this album for what it is: Political Commentary on the abysmal state of the USA, similar to what Darkie has done in the past on songs like Big War and Don't tread on me. This album isn't as good as Yang, but it isn't terrible. There are definitely things to enjoy here.
