a beautiful score for a beautiful movie
listened to this back when it came out but forgot to review it 😅
This EP has such a "party in the warehouse" vibe and I love it for that. But while it feels like a natural evolution of Nitepunk's sound it feels vastly disconnected from the rest of his discography. Overall it has a great vibe but is very different from the sonic identity Nitepunk has spent years building.
was not expecting a deluxe for this one but I absolutely love all the new additions
seeing these guys slowly get heavier over the years has been great, this album is honestly one of their best. the blend of Nu-Metal, Alt Metal and Metalcore works all very well with this album. definitely an aoty contender for me
by far one of my favourite albums that they have released since "Drift"
favourites: black cloud, echo sonata, i. the many names of god, ii. in the gut of the wolf
least favourites: cicada siren, lucid threshold, spiral (of liminal infinity)
very different from their past 3 albums, not nearly my favourite from them but it's better than most of the songs on "STIGMA"
tiktok-ification of music is not the way to go, songs are too short to be enjoyable
Kill The Noise's remix lp for Hollow World is just as disappointing as the original album
Likes: Ultraviolent - Godlands Remix, Paper Moon - SUAHN Remix
