Pulling no punches over its 31 minutes –Wage War’s shortest album to date– Stigma is the sound of a band stepping out of their comfort zone, embracing change and, ultimately, succeeding in their intended evolution.
This new Wage War album… is NOT GOOD.
I mean… what do I even say about this album?
The band literally thought it was a good idea to title their album one letter away from the word "sigma" that is literally being memed and made fun of to death online this year. I will say, it's different and I respect the leap of faith they had to try something new. And even if it didn't pay off with a lot of fans, I respect it and enjoy some of the songs here. The overwhelming amount of rave sounds that's pumped into the blood of this record is sometimes egregious, but on songs like #1 and #9, it works well. ... read more
