This album is noticeably easier to listen to and more accessible than their last, and that is probably why I prefer it. The experimental elements are still present to an extent in typical Sweet Trip fashion, but they have been mega toned down. I have known some songs on this album for a while, so I'm unsure why it took me so long to listen to it fully. All I can say is that this album is a masterpiece. I am absolutely obsessed with concept albums, as it includes visuals, a story, and themes in addition to the music. Not only does this make the record more coherent, but it also adds another layer that makes listening a full experience.

the epitome of generic indie in the best way possible. Its comforting and easy to listen to whilst still being an interesting album. I dont think wallows have released anything better than this album since it came out. Became a fan due to it and I still am to this day. I adore the transitions, im full - do not wait is the best part of the album.
I'm a big Remi fan, but I liked this less than her other stuff. There are some great songs, but I found the production especially on the vocals to be quite jarring, which is a shame as she's such a good vocalist. The instrumentation was mostly very good, I'm a big fan of the funk and soul influences seen in it.
