Lyrically... This record is so bunz. It's very repetive and shallow as fuck. I can't even defend it, but sonically, I had an extremely good time with it.
I don't necessarily go to Peggy for lyrical content and the production on this album is very up my alley so the corny and questionable ass bars didn't really bother me at all. I didn't even notice them until people started talking about them.
Honestly, this is a pretty solid jpeg record in my eyes. Not his best by ... read more
This shit is so fucking peak. I'm literally gonna bust.

2. God Loves You
3. HOE (Heaven on Earth)
I feel like I can't rate it because it's my project, lol, but in my extremely bias and 100% subjective opinion, this is a very good alternative indie folk record. 100% would recommend.

What the fuck do you mean she's 12 years old?...
This EP isn't groundbreaking or anything we've never heard before by any means, but it definitely sounds like North did what she was trying to do pretty well. Not just for a 12 year old, but in general. Lyrics were aight, vocals were solid and the production was fucking great. I'm pretty intrigued in what she's going to do next.

Pretty solid debut from Mr. Laurel.
He expands on the funk, soul and R&B tinged Indie Rock palate he's developed thus far with some of his best crop of song's to date. I just wish "MY LUV" was a part of the track list. It really feels like it was supposed to be. This isn't the best album ever created by any means, but it is a pretty good one. Easy listening with an alternative twist from time to time. 100% recommend.

I've been waiting for a great rock infused rap album for so long now and it makes so much sense that Mr. JPEG would be the one to answer my prayers.
The way he managed to fuse the two AND MORE genre's in this record are a show of his respect and understanding of rock music. I feel like we've all experienced a rapper entering their so-called rock/experimental era and proceeding to add watered down guitars to a trap beat and calling it a day. At multiple points in this album, ... read more
Kinda crazy how a straight woman made such an overwhelmingly gay album... Mother, is all you can say. She get's it.
It's a good dance album, but it starts of so batshit crazy and fucking amazing (with those first seven tracks BACK TO BACK?!... So good) and to me, struggles to keep that momentum going until the end of the record. In my opinion, the first half of the album is much better than the later.
But as I said, it's still a very good album, just not as life changing as I ... read more
She was just trying shit, for real. Lmao. I live.
This record is a pretty good collection of songs, but it's not very cohesive or focused at all and a handful of songs, e.g. GOLDWING, Therefore I am, Oxytocin, etc. sound rushed and unfinished. Overall, it's best moments are much stronger than it's worst.

This album quite literally gave birth to me.

3. Blood In The Wine
This album will forever be so nostalgic to me. I always fully revert to my 15 year old self while listening to it so, I'm literally incapable of being unbiased about my opinion of it. I fucking love this record. It's one of the only purely "Pop" albums in my library and I cry almost every time I listen to it. I love it so much and I think I always will.

Genuinely one of the best indie rock albums to ever indie rock. Great lyricism, crisp production, solid concept. Great record.

I didn't really connect to this record, and ultimately, I think it was just a matter of taste. I didn't like and don't really see myself re-listening to most, if not any, of these songs, but I still think it's a great album. It's instrumentally, very lush and soulful with very uniquely distinct but very fitting vocals over top. The record could have definitely been mixed higher, though. I found myself trying to increase the volume on my headphones multiple times while ... read more
Overstimulation: The Album
Personally, it kinda loses steam toward the end of the record, but overall, it's an extremely interesting and borderline overwhelming listen with some of the most batshit insane electronic production I've ever heard in my life.
Top 3:
1. Psychoboost
2. angels in camo
3. Experimental Skin
This record is just straight up weird vintage sounding, kinda 80's mall rat, feel-good pop music. I fucking love it here. It's so whimsical and odd.

2. w-w-w-w-w
3. head, shoulders, knees and ankles
This record reads more as a collection of interesting musical ideas than it does as a fully fleshed out record. It's good, but for the most part it felt like I was listening to slightly more produced versions of an artists voice memos. That said, I do think that this record as a follow up to "empathogen" is an indication that WILLOW might have found her sound.

Outside of the neo-classical meets industrial BANGER that is House featuring John Cale, not much peaked my interest from this record. It's a bit too sonically repetitive for my liking. Like, even though the record is pretty short, I still felt like it could have been further condensed. That, or the sonic palate of the record could've been diversified more. Ether way, I still found it, at the very most, a pleasant listen, overall.
Top song: House featuring John Cale
This album is lowkey over-rated.
It obviously isn't even close to being one of the worst albums I've listened to, but going from this to the pop-rap gem that is Planet Her is insane growth. Again, it isn't bad, but if any of the music off this album never came out, I doubt my life would be affected in any way.

WHY THE FUCK DOESN'T ANYONE TALK ABOUT THIS ALBUM!?!?!? It's genuinely such an amazing and timeless sounding record. I will, in fact be bumping this shit when I'm 60.
