Led Zeppelins debut album has such good instrumentation and production especially for something that came out in 1969 and Robert Plants vocals are really good too. I also admire how the band tried to be experimental on their debut instead of playing it safe. Overall there are a few tracks i don't like but for a debut album this is pretty damn amazing and showcased the potential that they could become the all time great rock band ended up becoming.
U by the underscores is a short but sweet album by the underscores which showcases the many talents of April Harper Grey. The production on this record is excellent and there's also some pretty great lyrics and April's vocals sound fantastic. I also appreciate how every song is unique no track seems like a clone of another. Overall i think this a very well made album which oozes personality and is really fun. My biggest standouts were Music,Do It and Bodyfeeling all being 10/10's ... read more
Slowdive puts the dream in dream pop with their sophomore album Souvlaki. This album is so beautiful the instrumentation is amazing and the vocals are so entrancing. if i had to describe the atmosphere of Souvlaki i would describe it as being like sitting on the beach at night when it's a full moon and looking out at the waves that seem so chaotic but so beautiful and precise at the same time. :)
Guts by Olivia Rodrigo in my opinion isn't a perfect album but i can't help but admire it. A lot of these tracks have so much emotion behind them you can tell are genuine and something she wants to get off her chest. When i started listening to this album i had no idea that i'd relate to multiple of the tracks off this album to the point where they feel like they're made for me. Overall there are a few tracks i'd skip but this a really strong sophomore album from the ... read more
This album is perfect my only real complaint is i wish it was longer but every song on here sounds amazing. Natsuko Miyamoto's vocals are so blissful and the instrumentation is phenomenal and these tracks have so much replay value. Overall this album is such a pleasurable experience from start to finish i think you could even make a argument for it being one of the greatest J-Rock albums of all time :)
