Grave Guy - [untitled]
77

Haven't listened to a Grave Guy release prior to this, so I went in with low expectations. I was pleasantly surprised; lots of very memorable moments and a very strong, foreboding atmosphere. Favorite tracks are "The Sun's Lament" and "Lavish Decadence, pt. 2". Thank you @(fkknoath)

Swans - The Great Annihilator
NR

favorite swans album but need to relisten before it feels ok for me to score

Edward Skeletrix - Museum Music
NR

why does life could go by quick have the airpod low battery noise 13 seconds in i felt a visceral reaction during my otherwise calm listening experience

Edward Skeletrix - Museum Music
NR

i hate this site

JPEGMAFIA & Danny Brown - SCARING THE HOES
80

watch this drop like 20 points when i relisten inevitably

Acid Bath - When the Kite String Pops

Felt kinda disappointed by this. Coming from a lot more inaccessible sludge records to this makes a lot of this not feel like sludge metal at all. In fact, the only song I can really say is a sludge song is The Blue, and everything else feels more like Southern Metal or Groove metal than Sludge or Doom.

Kendrick Lamar - Not Like Us
0

the worst thing to ever happen to white people and corporate tiktoks in the history of music. if i hear this song again i'll kill myself

Daniel Larson - Roaring Thunder
NR

all rise for the national anthem

Clutch - Clutch
84

Very groovy and fun stoner rock album, doesn't take itself too seriously. Tons of great basslines too.

JPEGMAFIA - I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU
67

Good, but not Veteran, Cornballs, or LP! good.

edit: the only song I remember is sin miedo and in retrospect this is top 3 worst peggy release

LUCKI - GEMINI!
72

Decent tuneski drivel, just not really what I wanted from him.

ScHoolboy Q - CrasH Talk
63

Honestly this album is very mid, especially when compared to Oxymoron, but I had to much fun with it too give it a score in the red.

Big Baller B - No More Half Measures
78

Coming off the success of his early 2022 release "Prison Sentence", B Dizzle seeks to rekindle the flame that ep sparked. And while it falls flat, it doesn't fall to far from the tree. The ep opens with the explosive "Yeah" that immediately starts off with B Dizzle rapping about his escape from prison and his escapades there after, such as selling crystals (not the healing kind) and breaking into the White House. The second track "Crack Selling Anthem" is B ... read more

"@poopsniffer68 Jpegmafia could do anything and get meatridden and called god because he has years of work and people are used to his sound. Edward has only made music like this for a year and a half and only really gained a following in the past months. It's the fact that people are immediately dismissing this that is an issue. The same people who like Danny Brown and BBC/Veteran era peggy are giving this 0's and calling it ass and it just doesn't make sense to me. I'm just coping hard ngl."
