Boldy James has been on a run for a while now. In his latest project, the Detroit Mc joins the legendary producer from Toronto Futurewave to make a collab album as he has already done with other legendary producers such as Alchemist, Real Bad Man, Sterling Toles and ultimately Nicholas Craven, and the outcome is as great as expected. We got another rap AOTY contender.
When I reviewed Fair Exchange No Robbery, I already said that Boldy was one of the most consistent rappers EVER and he keeps ... read more
Metro really did outdo himself with this one. Heroes and Villains is one of the best trap albums of the last year, if not the best.
What I love the most out of everything in this album is the sequencing. Every song, every beat and every feature is perfectly arranged. Metro really created a cinematic experience with this one. Love the multiple contributions by some great trap artists like Future or Travis Scott. Don toliver over metro boomin's beats are an amazing combination too. Makes Don's ... read more
Really solid track. From the start to the end. The guitar solo, the lyrical content, the flow, the instrumental... Everything works really good. Also, I feel like this type of sound fit more your use of the reverb. Would love if you kept exploring this kind of sounds.

Love the instrumental. Strings and percussion go crazy. The switch up of the tempo is amazing and your flows fit the vibe well.
Overall a very good song. Keep it going my brotha!

Most rappers run out of things to rap about in a decade or two, but Nas always finds the secret recipe to revitalize his sound. It's crazy how he adapts to changing times. Nas & Hit-Boy is a duo I never get tired of listening. They could keep going for another trilogy or even more and I probably would listen to every single record. Nas' rapping and flows mesh perfectly with Hit-Boy's production choices. And the final product is always worth listening.
KD3 might be the best installment of ... read more
