Sembrano proprio gli Oasis di magari 30 anni fa, o per certi versi ricordano i Beatles, così come gli Oasis all'inizio mi facevano ricordare ma credo che non sia stato assolutamente voluto somigliare a qualcuno e in particolare agli Oasis. Bella, ma si sente che hanno ripreso la tastierina dal pezzo "Your Love" di "Frankie Knuckles", forse con più ascolti potrebbe migliorare. Non mi soddisfa del tutto.

Nice, but you can tell they took the keyboard from "Your Love" by "Frankie Knuckles." It might improve with more listening. I'm not entirely satisfied with it. Nice ending.

La bellezza di questo disco è nella voce di lei. Effettivamente un gran bel disco.

What keeps All Monsters from being just another well-made shoegaze-adjacent debut is the lack of pose. There's no aestheticizing of the wound here, no romance of the damaged artist. The monsters are specific, the production is unfussy, and the band sounds like people who actually had to learn how to live with the things they're singing about.

There's an easy, accessible quality to it, the kind that successful music needs. The voice is what carries it. A few listens in, and I'm hooked.
