This is the best album to show someone open to listen to BTS without prejudices. It's like a buffet of good music: from pop ballads to r&b to rap, group songs, sub units or solo songs, talking about love, identity crisis or popstars ego... All you can ask for.
On the downside, this mix can be overwhelming to someone who doesn't follow their concept and lore. They are original idea to have this work divided into three might have worked in their favor.
It's summer, laying in the grass, subtle wind moving the trees leaves, you hear some kids laugh in the distance.
That's how this album sounds.
This felt weirdly comforting for it to be made after specific circumstances not everyone could relate too; ut also human enough for it to make you believe you also share their experience.
Probably their best piece of work all together. But you need to listen to the whole EP in order to get it.
On the songs per se, i feel like this followed by spaghetti was the culmination of their sound and concept... Lesserafim isn't dressing up as angels for some photoshoot, Lesserafim is singing about burning for your passion and then being reborn from the ahes to be cocky to the people that prayed on your downfall.
I do see the appeal of this album, I just can't get up with his singing... At all.
Also at one point it's better for me to find a traditional Puerto Rican album to listen too, seeing how it's the biggest selling point of this one.
