Rap metal fusion no one knew that they needed one of the best debut albums in history
One of the few albums that i have genuinely cried to. I don't know what about these songs makes them inertly so good but the atmosphere it creates is unmatched. Im aware that this is kind of a "poser" album of sorts but that doesn't matter. if you like an album, listen to it no matter what people think. Anyway ima go cry now
:)
Not a very good concept album. I can see some of the ideas he was going for but it's genuinely unlistenable. The mixing is absolutely horrendous and too much at some times. the vibe that it was trying to create just didn't sit with most people. some of the beats are good but the vocals just ruin those otherwise good moments. I believe that a step back was taken and Edward wasn't trying to do Way to much, this album could have been a lot better and a lot more of an influence in ... read more
Nerdcore rock, I love it and one of the most defining albums of the 1990's. at some times it can be a little bland like on "In the Garage" and "Only in Dreams" but everything else is amazing!
:)
probably the most Alt rock out of all the Radiohead albums. Even though I think OK computer is a much better album, I find myself coming back to this one more, the re-listenability is unmatched compared to any other radiohead album. Black Star, (Nice Dream), and High and Dry are some of my favorite radiohead tracks of all time and it's cool to see how far the band has come from just making simple alt rock to going full blown electronic experimental. The album is a little freaky tho ;0
:)
the fact that the strokes were able to save their career and put out possible the best post prime album ever is insane to me
:)
I was so hyped when Kendrick dropped on a random friday with no warning... My first listen I really enjoyed it, just happy to have more Kendrick to listen to, but then I listened more, and more... and more and I soon started to realize that this album... isn't that good. I love some of these tracks but others are kinda just corny. It makes sense considering how rushed the whole album was, so yea some parts are gonna sound rushed. don't take my negative nancy review as an attack on ... read more
I love mac miller and this album does a fantastic job of carrying on his legacy
:)
The mix of Grunge and Alternative rock is something that just scratches my brain in all the right places, there is no way that any rock fan won't like this album.
The iconicness and popularity of Black Hole Sun while still remaining one of the best grunge tracks
Half is kinda buns tho and for that I cant give it a perfect score :(
The very start of experimental rock that everyone should give a listen too at least once in their life
:)
I've never been a HUGE Gorillaz and that is evident with my rating. I really like the vibe they were trying to go with but I feel like execution was a little rough in some places. despite my relatively low rating low rating I would still recommend this to anyone who is into any kind of synthpop, or art pop
:)
Easy 100, Probably most influential album of to 21st century, not much more to say go listen NOW!!!
I love this record. if your not into "Emo Music" Great! this record mostly alt rock and one of the most influential rock albums of all time. Gerrard's vocal range is absolutely unmatched and absolutely the band's magnum opus. I know everything I say has been said to death about this album, but that just shows how truly great it is
possibly one of the most overrated albums which is crazy because -- it's a great album and I get why people say it's the greatest. I just don't feel for it the way other people do and honestly I find it kinda basic. I love some parts but other parts are just alright... I guess
IDK im sorry
:)
