I discovered Lecx back when Held my Gaze came out - probably because everything was recommending Haunted be thy to me. I love the creative instrumentation and what I personally find to be a fantastic voice. The Folkhouse is more amazing songs blending emo, folk and EDM. I just wish Lecx wasn't so... afraid? to use their voice, as three of the nine songs on here are instrumentals or interludes.
More people need to know of you legend. Make yourself heard.
Yo this soundtrack has a pretty cool game attached to it
Absolutely fantastic game and soundtrack to go with it. Genuinely cried for 30 minutes straight at the end. Peak.
Feeling the same things I felt with Porter's SMILE! :D
An eccentric, experimental, energetic and emotional journey. Fishmonger continues to hold more value for me, but this is fantastic work.
*insert large amount of trans features joke here*
Very fun, creative and weird album, just like Danny's earlier albums were. Great job Mr. Brown.
After the bombastic Contract and Turnstile-ish Drum Show, I had hopes that this would be a new, heavier shift in sound. And on some songs, a little 'breakdown' and scream does appear. But that's about it. Otherwise it's good old twenty one pilots. Nothing amazing, just 'yeah it's pretty alright'. I'm sad about how it all ended, but I get it. Congrats on finishing the final chapter, I can't wait to see what you do next (please be more metal influences)
Josh's vocals are nice, but i love the metal influence in the bridge. Tyler's scream is sick. Please let the entire album be like this.
Thank you AOTY front page for showing me this and making my day a lot better and easier to process on my way to work❤️🫶
I love my computer too, a bit too much. I spend a lot of time on it and I know it's bad for me, but I can't stop. This album shows me exactly why I love spending time on it, while also telling me those are the same reasons i need to focus on the real world sometimes too.
Fantastic album. Thank you Nina for making this✨
This is... Really good? Like properly unique sounding and creative and fun? Not cringe lyrically? Awesome lore and music video? Breach AOTY?
A big improvement over Galore. The electronic metalcore duo locks in their sound - BMTH and Pendulum's baby. And I'm all for it.
You think this is a goofy and silly album? This is a normal album for someone as goofy and silly as me :3
Move over Brat Summer, we got Revengeseekerz Spring now
Jane is so far the only artist who has successfully pulled the 'new album new genre' move on what is now 4 projects (teen week ep + 3 albums)
Electronic production that goes insanely fucking hard, epic transitions and drops, it sounds like something Opium would drop but is afraid to do something new so they don't disappoint the childre- i mean fans who listen to them.
Simply put, Jane said 'It's time to kick ass ... read more
I'm taking down 15 points for being the most playlist-unfriendly album I've ever seen. It's an absolute banger though. A love letter to Skrillex's entire discography that's a joy to put on. Very epic mr Skri Lexx.
The first time I ever heard anything from Deafheaven was when they were opening for Knocked Loose on a Europe tour, just before KL's album last year dropped. They went crazy hard, but I felt like it isn't quite as good live.
I haven't heard Sunbather yet, only some tracks during that show. Now I really wanna listen to it, because if it's this but rougher, I'm all for it.
Lonely People With Power has a misleading title and cover art. Because as far as I'm concerned, ... read more
