Vansire - Angel Youth

This album is the perfect mix of genres for my music taste unlikely to replicated any time soon (If there's an album that's similar please tell me). The lo-fi esque instrumentals paired with the really lovely vocals from Vansire is defenitely something to behold. This is 100% an album that can instantly change my mood, it's just so... comforting, I love it! This album also has one of the best closers with "Yours Truly", this song is one of the highlights of the album for me as not ... read more

Without Warning had it's ups and downs, but it's ups were GREAT

I don't usually dig too far into albums deeper or hidden secret meanings and I have a general distaste for songs longer than 7 minutes (give or take), but this album, there's just something about this album so far that I just absolutly love. This is the first album in a long time that I can say actually made me feel some type of way. There is just something about every track, from the soft acoustic guitar on Eternal Worm to the "Arrowheads" and "Thank god that's over" 's on ... read more

I liked this album a lot when it first came out, but it's really grown off of me since. There are a couple songs I still like but I just think they're alright.

I can see how people view this as an absolute masterpiece, but I can't get over his voice. Songs where he doesn't do that like "Tell Me What I Don't Know" absolutely bang, and songs where it somehow fits really well with the beat like "When It Rain" also bang, but songs like "Pneumonia" I just can't get over, it sounds too off the wall for me.

His voice has definitely grown on me, I still don't like ... read more

Kendrick Lamar - Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers

This album was good I liked a lot of the features, some beats were sick, but some songs didn't match with other songs, for example Mother I Sober is lightyears better than Silent Hill. I also didn't like We Cry Together even remotly because it was esentially just a man and a women fighting over a looping beat and ends with them (having sex?) which was, really uncomfortable to say the least, but maybe thats the point, Maybe I'll appreciate it once this album is absolutely dissected over the next ... read more

Devilish Trio - Volume 3

This album started off absolutely amazingly with 3 A.M. and Rotten tooth grin especially, but about halfway through it started to lose quite a lot of steam. The thing that kept me hooked was every few songs I would really enjoy the beats like on Mr. Grim and Take a look around I thought were amazing but then some songs would go by and I just thought the beats on those songs were pretty standard and the vocals I think start to get a little stale after Mr. Grim.

J. Cole - KOD

This album, isn’t INSUFFERABLE but it not good, from the really unusual and unfitting beats to the flow on almost every song, it just doesn’t sound good.
Every song has atleast one thing so off it doesn’t sound even remotely good anymore, the lyrics don’t sound good but the beats pretty good, or the vocals are good but the flow is atrocious, there’s always one.

Toby Fox - UNDERTALE Soundtrack

This review is 1000000% blinded by bias but idgaf.
The songs on here are absolutely full of personality and every song somehow just fits perfectly with the characters on screen, songs such as “Alphys”, “NGAHHH”, “your best friend” and dare I say, “sans.”. This soundtrack has a sound for literally EVERYBODY! want a loving sound to reminisce to?? “UNDERTALE”. Want a chill song to lay down and think about what went wrong in your life?? ... read more

A L E X - Growing Up, Vol. 1

I thought this album was really nice, easy to listen to, and flows really easily and seamlessly. I like to listen to albums like these lying down thoughtlessly. However, there were a couple of things that would take me out of that experience, namely the sound effects that would play over and over again on songs like "I Miss Having Sleep Overs", and "Zeldas Lullaby" (but Zeldas generally fits the song a little better) maybe I just don't have the nostalgia needed to like those ... read more

Baker Ya Maker - Violent Shit III: The Epilogue

I enjoyed the majority of this EP which I kinda found surprising, I expected it to be quite terrible but I actually didn't hate it. The only song I didn't like would have had to have been Deadbeat 91', everything else I liked to an extent but Cannabliss really takes the cake for me.

For as short as it was, it was a pretty good 6 minutes, definitely left wanting more of this.

Joji - BALLADS 1

I enjoyed this album from start to finish, as short as it was. From the lofi-Esque beats to Joji's voice effects, it sounded amazing. It's 100% the type of music I would listen to while staring at my ceiling.
Top songs: SLOW DANCING IN THE DARK, YEAH RIGHT, TEST DRIVE, XNXX.
Worst songs: R.I.P., WHY AM I STILL IN LA.

I felt that this was actually a really good album, a common thing I have heard was that the features like Conway, Benny and Joey Bada$$. carried the album. However, I think once you get used to Westside Gunn's voice it becomes much more enjoyable the more you listen. I really enjoyed the production on this album especially songs like 327, French Toast, and No Vacancy.

Viktor Vaughn - Vaudeville Villain

This album is definitly one of my favorites in DOOM's discography. I really enjoy the production on this album too, especially songs like G.M.C and Modern Day Mugging. The storytelling on this album is phenominal like on tracks such as Can I Watch? Overall, fantastic album and a really good introduction to the character Viktor Vaughn.

Logic - Confessions of a Dangerous Mind

This whole album is "meh" at best. Don't get me wrong there are some absolute bangers on this album but you can go from a really good song to possibly the worst thing you've ever heard logic make and it's honestly really jarring. You can go from some okay songs like Confessions of a Dangerous Mind or Keanu Reeves to some horrific songs like Icy, Don't Be Afraid to Be Different or god forbid Wannabe. Unfortunately, there aren't that many good songs off this album. The one thing that ... read more

Tyler, The Creator - Flower Boy

Amazing album with unique production and terrific features that for the most part, really compliment the album.
The highlights of the album would be songs like 911, foreword, and boredom.
The only song I didn’t like as much would be Droppin’ Seeds because the lyrics kinda weirded me out and I’m also not a big fan of Lil Wayne.
Otherwise, amazing album, definitely deserves the “must hear” tag.
